I have a setup with a pvr 250 and as I have it setup when you try to watch live tv it works for a couple seconds and then the hard drive starts crunching and the video goes blank. I cannot esc out of it and i just hit alt-ctrl-f1 and then have to restart. What can I do to get this working...?

well when you hit ctrl+alt+f1 instead of restarting look in /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log and /var/log/messages to see if there is any indication of what may be happening.
