I have been playing with this on a two drive system for a few hours and I am pretty close. I want to restore only the database portion of the my R4v5 to my clean R5A16 system. HD A is small drive used for the knoppmyth image. HD B is just myth partition I copy the files from the HD A \myth partition to the HD B \myth partition. Note that doing a full restore breaks the linux part of the restore, mostly the ivtv file gets corrupted. The sql worked and had my old programs listed in it and they played fine. It there any way to force only the the database part of the backup to be restored on knoppmyth restore? |
