During install of R5A16 I get message Cannot find file "media/cdrom0/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX" ( I / O error ) Im a newbie to Linux, but did some programming many years ago... seems to be an interrupt problem rather than a bad burning of CD ?? pls help with a rather basic advice howto workaround [/list][/b] |

This could be the result of a bad burn or drive. |

The "I/O error" message, does that indicate a conflicting resources at same interrupt or that Knoppmyth can not find my cdrom driver (already installed by Ubunty)? I posted this topic wrong - it should be under install Knoppmyth...sorry Its moved now, so I will close this thread. |

Cesman - thanks I will burn a new CD tomorrow. Noticed I cannot close this tread - hope admin does, thanks.. Its a Knoppmyth installation problem, sorry |
