I am trying to install Knoppmyth, but no luck...

I manage to do a auto installation with no problems. When prompted to reboot i take out the cd and reboots. When starting up again i get the error "no active partition on hdd". This happens right after post.

I have only one drive as hda1 and it is set as master.
Version is R5A16.

Hardware: MB Gigabyte GA-686BXE 440BX Chipset (old, i know)

Any ideas?

Boot off the CD and Alt-F2 to another tty then run cfdisk or fdisk and set hda1 to be active (bootable).

Worked like a charm, although i booted of another LiveCD.
