Post subject: | hard lock when watching TV |
When I am watching TV, MythTV will randomly crash, usually about half hour or hour into watching tv. Its not a heating problem(I modded the case I use to support another fan and it cooled the outer case temp dramatically). I finally checked the syslogs and the error is staring me in the face, and I feel stupid for having wasted 4 hours modding the case. In var/log/syslog: mythtv kernel: ivtv: Not enough free buffers, stream 0 mythtv last message repeated 25 times mythtv kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 00:1f.5 mythtv kernel: ivtv: Not enough free buffers, stream 0 mythtv last message repeated 12 times mythtv kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3,frame# 28 mythtv kernel: ivtv: Not enough free buffers, stream 0 mythtv last message repeated 9 times mythtv kernel: eth0: Setting 100mbps full-duplex based on auto-negotiated partnet abilty 41e1 mythtv kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:f1.2-2 address 2 mythtv kernel :hub.c: new USB device 00:1f.2-2, assigned address 3 mythtv kernel: input0:USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [:Cue:CAT :Cue:CAT Adaptor] on usb1:3.0 mythtv kernel: input1:USB HID v.10 Pointer [:Cue:CAT :Cue:CAT Adaptor] on usb1:3.1 and then syslog restarts, beacuse I had to reset the machine. I am using a small HD(only 20GB), and am not sure if this is the cause of the problem Ideas appreciated PS: Yes, I did write all that out from my other monitor |

Please check the forum. I've provided instructions on both of these... If you have a Via chipset, you maybe out of luck as issue exist w/ Via and IvyTV. You can also check or join the IvyTV mailing list. |
