Okay, I have been having a problem with my MythTV. On my channel guide, there is this distored grey bar at the top of the channel listing. It is really annoying, and it wont go away. Here is a pic:

never seen anything like that before. Just a stab in the dark have you tried a different theme?

I've seen this problem on ATI video cards but on Windows. Have you tried a different video card. Perhaps you could post your computer's specs.

Well, I am running this on an HP de200c box, which has integrated intel i810 graphics. Unfortunately, I cannot put another GPU in, because there are only 2 pci slots and I need one for ethernet and one for the PVR250.

650mhz Celeron
i810 graphics
256mb ram

I don't have much experience with the 810 on Linux, but on Windows it doesn't display video well. You may need a better computer all around if you want a MythTV box.

don't know if it would help, but have you tried a different program guide image display method (alpha, rounded, color-coded, whatever...)?

I have tried a different method, with no success.

The box seems to work fine, minus the preformance issues, although I would expect that and dont mind it too much.
