I had MythTV working on FC3, but due to some other installations the computer became unstable, why I decided to do a scratch install using Knoppmyth Release 5A16. At first, I successfully installed Knoppmyth all the way so I could watch TV, set-up recordings access web interface, etc. (I should have stopped here:?) However, since I have a PVR-350, I wanted to use TV-out. I therefore reinstalled Knoppmyth from scratch with "tv" specified. It worked up to reboot, but then it froze up with an ivtv error similar to the one below. Since then I have tried to reinstall it over a dozen times without TV-out to get it working again, but it keeps freezing up during the installation. The installation runs through its first “phase” OK, but after reboots it freezes with the text shown below on the screen. Any advice what to do?

For anyone having a similar problem in the future, I had this same thing and found that trying a different PCI slot fixed it!
