I have a Problem during autoinstall (knmyth R4)
after the install wizard asked me" Doyou want to proceed with ...?"
and i klicked "yes"
he gives me the following error:


what did i do wrong (the mdchecksumcheck was okay)

i have only 1 FAT32 Harddisk on Secondary Master
Sacondary Slave is my CD-ROM
that was my first configuration

next i tried my harddisk at Primary master and slave
but nothing worked
but it only shows this line:


i also tried manual install but it says that my hard disk is read only

hmmm that is odd on the read only part, but the errors you are talking about are almost always because the disk is not primary master ide drive. Autoinstall will only work with the drive as primary master, not scsi not secondary master not on the ata raid controler, but primary master on the first ide channel, because it is looking for hda. anything else will give the drive a different designation.
