I have resolved this issue. It was a problem unrelated to my PVR 250 or KnoppMyth itself. Sorry for the unecessary post

I am trying to set up KnoppMyth R5A26 but cannot complete the initial configuration. After answering the series of questions, the MythTV Configuration app will come up. When I go into Option 2 (Configure Capture Cards), I add a new card, and from the drop down box I select 'PVR 250/350.' From that point I have about 1 or 2 seconds before the computer locks up. The screen freezes, no keyboard input has any effect, I can't toggle caps-lock, nothing. There is no beeping to signal a kernel panic, or any other sign of an error.

I have a Hauppauge PVR 250 card, and I can verify it does work. I've used it in the past week with MythTV on Fedora Core 3.

I would appreciate any help or insight.
