I have been using r5a16 without any problems, it recognized both of my PVR250s automatically and they both worked great. I recently had a complete drive failure so I just rebuilt the system using r5a26 and now only my /dev/video0 works. When I cat /dev/video1 test.mpg I just get blackness. From the logs everything seems ok. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Here is my dmesc

That grep loses about 30-40% of the critical information. Please use the sed command or at least the improved egrep command and repost the results. I can see at least one odd thing, which is the decoder firmware being loaded for the second PVR-250, almost like it's being misdetected as a PVR-350, but with the missing info it's hard to tell.

The second tuner is a funky one I've only heard of once before the "freestyle". Not sure if we have anyone around here with any experience with those. It might pay to go spelunking in the IVTV mailing list archives...
