1) I've got a Hauppauge 878-based PCI TV tuner. I installed KnoppMyth, set up all the settings and such, added the tuner as standard V4L, went through the rest of the setup... once it finished, I hit Watch TV, and nothing. Black screen. (Froze the PC as well)...

2) How can I get a new IP address via DHCP? (I had to reboot after it crashed (see above) and now it doesn't have an IP address.) ifconfig isn't working...

Try the "pump" command:
pump

Pump... what an odd name for a command. Worked though :) Thanks. Now for fixing this tuner...
