I am attempting to build my first Myth box and need a little help. I purchased a PVR 250mce and if I install it in the machine it just locks up. I did some digging and found that ivtv detects it as the wrong card, a version 1 instead of verion 2. I download, compiled, and installed the newest ivtv drivers as they allow you to specify the version of the card. The problem is that I don't know where to do this. Knoppix detects the cards automatically and adds the entry into the modules.conf file but does not have the additional option for card type. With out the option, my machine locks up as soon as the driver loads.
