The kernel is compiled for SMP, you can ignore the "only one CPU found".

ok but the problem is that it only install in failsafe mode...I don't if the installation is ok after (and it seems not because it didn't boot correctly)

at install,if you type F2 to have help, you will have options like

have you tried using the noscsi option? that is generally the problem if it won't load. If you absolutely have to use the failsafe mode it is quite likely that some of your hardware is not supported and won't work. Maybe you should give us a hardware rundown.

problem solved !!!
I had to put a "noapic acpi=off" option in the boot command in lilo.conf
But since i can't boot, it was a little bit difficult...with the installation cd it was ok !!! Now I have a black screen after booting...but there are some topics about that !

Thanks

Define "black screen". If you mean black screen while trying to watch TV, then yes various threads have been written about this.

Actually, after knoppmyth booting, I just have a black screen without any graphic interface. When I press "ctrl-alt-f1", I got text mode with login invit. But I didn't "install-nvidia.sh" already. I think I have to do this before anything else.
