Post subject:  Missing eth0 after auto-install

After doing an auto-install, DHCP fails. Upon investigating, I realize I have no eth0. (ifconfig eth0 reports no such device.) However, an lspci -v lists my ethernet device:

0000:00:04.0 Ethernet controller: nVidia Corporation nForce 2 Ethernet Controller (rev a1) ...

I've verified that my onboard lan is enabled in BIOS. Any idea what to do next? Several others have used the onboard lan on this motherboard without any trouble.

Thanks,
David
