Hey, Im bout to install my first KnoppMyth dist and I've read through the forum and diff guides on which filesystem to use. It's been a while since I last sat up something in linux, now I'm thinking bout LVM, read through http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ilesystems and got some tips there. But I still feel uncertain bout how to best set up KnoppMyth with my specs, using LVM with two 200GB disks... Anyone out there who could give me some pointers on what to think about with eg. partitions, etc, before installing... ? Thx |

First tip: you're posting in the wrong section. Read the stickies at the top of Installation--it's strictly for problems with installation from the KnoppMyth CD. Anything else is either pre-installation or post-installation and will probably be deleted from this section. Second (in case you read this before it's deleted), check http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/ for some good LVM howtos. |
