Hello,

i have 4 harddiscs in the pc and want now install the latest knoppmyth on the 4.hd

hda
hdb
hdc
hdd <----

first all seems ok, the system ask for name, password and when
the last screen comes with the message:

"do you want proceed with these parameters" i click on YES

and 5 seconds later the prompt comes:

/usr/local/bin/Knoppmyth-auto: line 608 /1000000: snytax error: operand expected (error token is "/1000000")


what can i do ?

When the harddisc is hda the install works.

please help

install to hda,
move the disk to hdd
boot from the cd.
mount hdd1
chroot to the mounted hdd1
edit /etc/lilo.conf and replace occurences of hda with hdd.
run lilo
edit /etc/fstab and replace occurences of hda with hdd.
Reboot and if you boot from hdd, all will be good.
