On a Clean install of R4V2-

Celeron 1.7 - MTI SMS-7005
WinTV PVR-250
GeForce4 FX 5200 AGP


Getting this error when I go to Import. Myth then segfaults.
I have 2 drives. One is a DVD Burner the other is a CD ROM.

Any ideas on what may cause this?

I have had this problem too, does anyone know how to fix this?

If I remeber correctly, is has to do with your hostname and the name MythTV thinks it is in the db. Please check the MythTV archives for more...

well it says your database is out of whack, so I would suggest checking and repairing the database. There is sticky thread on one of the forums for how to do that.
