Post subject:  "KnoppMyth" style installer, but with RedHat?

Hello

I have been using KnoppMyth for a few days now (and I LOVE it!). Is there a similar version that installs with RedHat or similar distro that has a more robust feature set on the Linux OS? I'd like to use a browser, and other stuff, and I REALLY don't know how to download or install stuff like that.

Thanks,

http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/apt-howto/index.en.html will teach you how to use apt to install additional software. KnoppMyth is meant to be as small as possible and only includes what is needed to run a "set-top box".

I'm a RedHat guy also, but I'm finding that being able to rely on a standard install (KnoppMyth) and adding packages using the apt-get is the way to go. At least with this, you can always know where things stand after an install if you run across problems. I think it took me like 5 minutes of reading before I got the hang of apt-get. This works great. Install a browser? "apt-get install mozilla"

Not too shabby...
