This Intel Motherboard is not supported with R5D1. Built in NIC, Video & Drive controller are not supported in that kernel build. And there aren't enough PCI slots on the board for enough add-in cards to get around the problems. -Bill

I feel your pain. I just tried to get Linux running on one of these board. ANY linux -- I tried Suse 10.1, Debian, Ubuntu... Nobody has drivers for this board. It went back to Fry's after days of frustration. This will seriously limit my purchases of Intel boards in the future.

I found out later that Intel has a few boards on the P965 chipset which are supported by Linux drivers. But stay away from the G965 chipset at all costs!

In E50, if you boot with the 'intelfix' parameter, the installer will work with the DG965WH, which is the motherboard used in Dragon 2.0. Enjoy!
