Tried on Knoppmyth R5D1 It just doesn’t want to be detected and in windows the graphics have a lot of blocks in fast action, I will be upgrading my system to R5E50 tonight and will try again but if it doesn’t perform 100x better in Linux than it did in windows I would suggest not getting it at all |

i tried this card, it requires core/core2 duo or similar processor to get decent framerate, the video is jerky on my sempron 3100 laptop, so i returned it, also it didnt get detected on mythtv.... people say it is the signal issue, it could be, if you are more than 10 miles from the broadcasting station. i was getting pbs at a decent framerate so check your distance from tv stations. that could be one issue.. |

See this link http://www.isely.net/pipermail/pvrusb2/ ... 01458.html for a driver set that may work depending on where you live. This driver needs the kernel sources from a running kernel that you made on your mythtv box. I'm in the US and it didn't work in mythtv. tvtime it kind of worked, but far from fully functional for me. |
