| Post subject: | WinTV-GO Tuner in New Cards |
New cards in the WinTV-GO line use a new tuner from Conexant (Sp?) that are not recognized by the bttv and tuner drivers. The Card works great through composite. I tried each of the different tuner= settings. Various people have had the same problem. I researched it heavily. Figured I'd post here to let anyone else know about it. Other than the tuner issue it has been working great. Not bad for a $40 card. |

It does work.... You need a new kernel (I'm running 2.6.10) with the latest patches for v4l. (available from linux.bytesex.org/v4l if memory serves). Once you get the new kernel up and running, the card works perfectly. FYI, my card (with the new tuner) is detected with tuner=50. CMT |
