Out of the box it will not work. Theoretically you can get it to work by:
1) Patching the kernel to get IDE DMA support.
2) Find, build and install drivers for the built in sound. It mimica an Intel chipset. This MIGHT just be a configuration issue, but I think the drivers are not new enough to support it
3) The LAN card requires new drivers to be built and installed. Uses VIA chipset drivers for the lan.

I got mine working by using old lan, sound, and PCI IDE cards to replace the MB functions. If I didn't have them lying around the cost of these cards would have exceeded the cost of the MB. Thus unless you want to patch the kernel and stuff, don't get this board.

Its a shame since its a nice board, and its deceptively close to the reference board (NF7-M). However unlike the other NF7 boards it uses a newer nVidea Force2 chipset (some places call it Force3, but most call it Force2) which is not compatible with KnoppMyth out of the box.

This board now works out of the box with R5A9 (IDE, LAN, sound).

So why not move this to Tier 1 or 2?
