| Post subject: | Will an ATI AIW 8500 DV work with MythTV? |
So years ago I tried the media PC game with less of an attention span. I got an ATI All-In-Wonder 8500 DV to do the job but loathed the ATI GUI. So I gave up on it. But now I am broke and have a better understanding of my options. But I would still like to know before I give up on my current configuration if such an old card would be compatible? |

It will work for output, however the tv tuner will not work. ATI has not been forthcoming enough with specs to allow these devices to work, nor have they included support in their binary drivers. |
