Not sure if this is a usage question, or a hardware question, but how do I set up Knoppmyth to put the system to sleep when it is not in use for an extended amount of time?

I keep my system on all the time, but I'd like it to go into sleep mode or something similar to conserve energy at night when it is not doing anything 80% of the time. Right now the fan just always runs, never shuts off or down or anything.

Thanks for the input,

-swc

The best option is probably to use nvram-wakeup if your BIOS supports power up at specify times. As I have not set it up, check the MythTVs and mailing list for details on setting it up. If you get it running, perhaps you'd be kind enough to post a howto.
