I wanted to post a reply to this since I forgot that I found a fix for my random crashing issue later on down the road and it may help anyone that was having similar issues. My PC is a silent PC (lots for passive cooling) which caused the Hauppauge PVR350 to get really hot, it was causing the PC to hard freeze. I ended up super gluing a silent 20mm fan to it and the problem has not returned. This was confusing since all my PC stats looked good, solid temperatures and stats, but there was no way to know the temp of the heat sync for the PVR 350 so I neglected it. If anyone comes down the road having random crashing hopefully this will help them out. |
