I am using R5E50 with a PVR-350, All default installation. Front end is a P4 3.2 1GB system.

There is no problems with the machine handling the output, oh and the video card is a 7600GT with VGA-Component out.

This is what the recordings look like, I know its hard to see with this photo but you get my drift. How can I remove these? If you look at the top of the photo you will see the line I am talking about, and the sides of the recording is also cropped a little bit. I changed the setting in myth for the 720x448 recording size.

Please help.....

Can't tell a lot from that photo, but the line at the top of the picture is digital data being transmitted on the three lines next to the blanking interval. They are intended to be pushed offscreen by overscan.

Use nvidia-settings to increase your ovescan until it is off the screen. Then use the gui x and y size and offset settings in the mythtv settings (appearance settings I think) to make your myth menus fit the portion of your display that is not over-scanned off the screen.

there is no options for overscan in the nvidia-settings
