I'searched and found a suggested modeline for my Sony HD CRT. I searched and found that I don't have the XF86Config-4 file. Why Don't I have it? I also installed Videogen. But, I don't know how to use it. I've searched far and wide and can't locate any How To's on this. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks. |

If you have R5E50, it uses xorg instead of XFree86. You should be looking for the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf |

Thanks for the reply. So, is it safe to assume that I don't need to use videogen? I would just edit the Xorg.conf file? |
