I'searched and found a suggested modeline for my Sony HD CRT. I searched and found that I don't have the XF86Config-4 file. Why Don't I have it? I also installed Videogen. But, I don't know how to use it.

I've searched far and wide and can't locate any How To's on this. Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks.

If you have R5E50, it uses xorg instead of XFree86. You should be looking for the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Thanks for the reply.

So, is it safe to assume that I don't need to use videogen? I would just edit the Xorg.conf file?
