Hi. I left knoppmyth running with Live Tv on and when I came home from work I noticed I have like 12 shows recorded. The problem is, I didn't want to record these shows. It just recorded what came on from the channel I left the receiver on. Is this suppose to happen? I was just testing Live TV again. Whatever channel I changed to there would be a recording of the program when I go to "delete recordings". I would see a new recorded program of the channel that I was just on. I know I didn't hit record or anything like that. Is there a way to turn this off? I don't want to accidentally fill up my hard drive from leaving Live TV running again. Thank you.

Hi, just eating my lunch so i thought id respond... save other responding who have a new release to deal with...

AFAIK, the symptoms are by design. MythTV records everything you watch though liveTV, and sets it to expire according to the parameters set in the setup screens.

Hope that is correct, and hope it helps.

Nathan

What nmcaullay said. This is actually a lesser FAQ.

A bit of searching will turn up dozens of similar replies to essentially the same question.

Thanks guys for the reply. Sorry for posting something that was already answered. I'll make sure not to do it again. Thanks again!
