Should work, and the Harmony will probably be able to figure it out quickly. Worst-case, you have to learn all of the buttons. |

Hi again, I'm posting here cause I have just upgraded to 5.5 and have some questions about what i did in the past. I am currently using 1080i rather than 720p this time. Below is my config. the 3 problems that I am having are: 1.when in setup on the frontend, i see a bit of flickering 2. when in the main menu, if i go up or down to switch between options, they disappear until I come back to the main menu, This does not happen in any other menus. 3. the time and date at the top of the menu looks like this when the hour goes to double digits Mon Jan 19, 1.... one being `12 I am using the Neon Wide theme. Same TV as in the earlier post. Code: Section "ServerLayout"

Not sure that this is it, but try disabling opengl for your menus. This sounds like a strange page flip thing. If that works, and you'd like to re-enable openGL, post back here, I think I can give you an xorg.conf option that will fix it. |

You don't have to leave the frontend, its a checkbox in the appearance options. I'll walk through it tonight and repost here. |

Thanks, pilesofspam. I looked all over the frontend, and could not locate it. I do remember turning it on though. But for some reason, the menu is no longer disappearing. Go figure...I would like to make sure that it is on or off though. |
