I'm sure it got something to do with configuration, but I'm having trouble being able to record one channel, and watch another. I have 2 identical dvb-s cards installed, both cards work, if I hit "Y" on the keyboard it will switch between the 2 cards, all's well. But if I try and record say something on PPV , but I want to watch something on scifi channel, shouldn't I be able to do so ? when I try to change channels,or hit "y" while recording, I get no response, thanks in advanced for any insight you might can give. |

Yes, it should work. However, you cannot press 'y' when watching a record and have it then go to live tv. |

I understand, but even if I try changing channels nothing happens, just sets there recording away, I tried entering the channel numbers manually, and threw the guide, but nothing happens. |

As you now currently watching a recording, you can't change channel, the only thing I can suggest is exiting Live TV, then going back into it, this should automatically select the other tuner. I don't think the MythTV devs have thought about that particular scenario. Bruce S. |
