Hey guys I have a situation where the only way I can get internet connectivity is to use a wifi card with my mythbox... And for business reasons I use WPA TKIP security on my wireless network. This makes getting mad wifi setup just horrid... I"m not enough of a linux guru to get things up and going, and I've gone to the site, and gotten the additional packages installed, which it turns out, you have already included.. (thanks)

but I'll be go to (a very hot place) if I can get things working... any chance you could include the files to handle the wifi setup including wpa security through a gui interface?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE?

Don't know about any gui for you ---- do it from the command line..

iwpriv ra0 set AuthMode=WPAPSK
iwpriv ra0 set EncrypType=TKIP
iwconfig ra0 essid <your essid>
iwpriv ra0 set WPAPSK=<your key>
dhclient ra0

where ra0 is your wireless interface..

you can turn it into a script and call it from interfaces file. do a "man interfaces"
