I've only had the remote frontend running for a short while, but twice now I've tried to watch a recorded show and the screen went black. Audio came out, but not video. I went back to the menus, then several minutes later tried playing the show again and it worked. Any thoughts? Again, this is NOT live TV, and doesn't happen often. I think both times it was accessing HD content, but I'm not sure. The first time it happened I didn't give it much mind, and tonight it happened with an episode of nightline that may have been transcoded. RFE setup: Compaq D510 evo P4 2.4, 512mb, 100gb PNY Nvidia 5200 w/ 256ram, using s-video out TIA, mogator88 |

You may want to check two things, the frontend log files and possibly top to see if your system can keep up. |

I've had that issue too. Restarting the remote frontend resolved it and I never dug to the bottom to find the actual reason. Cheers, /Chris |
