on R5E50 i wanted to transfer a recorded movie to a dvd.
did the steps 'optical disks > .... ' as i have done many times before.

the screen ends with a blue one, headed by 'Log Viewer': the log of the processes going on.

# file has a cutlist - running mythtranscode to remove ...
# failed while running mythtranscode ..
# file will be re-encoded using profile SP

# re-encoding audio and video
# encoding profile SP found
# ffmpeg -v .............................

that's the last line.
nothing happens
when i shutted down the machine and started again today the same sceen did come up again (as i did i wanted to bring to dvd the original recording); the date in front of the line is that of yesterday (as everyting stopped).

when i use the button 'cancel' a screen appears "background creation has been asked to stop. this may take a few minutes' and 'ok'
activating 'ok': nothing happens (the log screen returns but no progress/change at all)

what can/must a do to repair?
when you need log files to be able to help, please tell me which/where.

edit: in myth/tmp/logs i found 2 log files and 2 lock files.
mythburn.lck and mythburncancel.lck.
the logs (one big) on: " members.lycos.nl/driepoot99/mythfout "

can i free the system by deleting the *.lck files (and restarting?)

thanks,
rob

See http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.p ... ytharchive

(and so the search function will find this in the future: MythArchive crash remove files)
