Post subject:  recorder offline: what is this?

another pecularity:

on my combined front/backend KM box i schedule 2 recordings:
1. on channel 29184 (SuperRTL =on astra 19.2 east satellite): it appears in the scheduled list : "single record +1 will record"
(visible in the screen 'scheduled recordings'

just after the first schedule, i add the second one

2. on channel 30339 (EinsPlus, on the same satellite)
it appears in the scheduled list, but has the label: "single record - recorder off-line"
there is an "F" on its line on the screen.

number 1 is recorded
number 2 is not recorded.

has this a relation to the channel number?
both channels can be seen when i connect the lnb to my desktop sattuner, both channels do broadcast at the scheduled time.

i receive the channels (in the KM box using a DVB-S board)

i could not find this item in the wiki or on the forum.

any thoughts??

I saw the "recorder offline" issue with my PVR-150 card when my ivtv drivers did not load properly at boot time. I think more details about your hardware is needed. KM version? How many tuner cards are in your box? I'm not familiar with DVB-S, but my guess is something is borked with the drivers you card is using. Possibly a udev issue? Anything in the logs? dmesg?

2 'first answers': the KM-version is R5E50.
the DVB-S card is the Technisat SkyStar 2 TV
there is only this card in the box (no PVR or other receiving cards)

note: this system is working about a year!
i didn't (try to) record that EinsPlus channel before.
other *lower* channels are recording fine.

to the scheduling i described:
i scheduled 1 and 2 (short 'test' recordings) very close to each other (few minutes between them).
one records, the other not.
how can that be a driver issue? (the card/km combo is working imho)

will gather logs and post
