Noob question here:

According to system status on my R5F27 box, I am almost out of disk space. Almost all of our recordings are from TV. So, I was surprised that /myth/tv uses up only about half of our available disk.

I was really surprised to see a directory /myth/video/myth which uses up just about all of the other half. Is this supposed to be here? It looks like it contains old (although some were updated about two weeks ago) files. And its directory hierarchy generally parallels that of /myth. I would have figured the video directory would contain only videos.

Can I trash it? I can back it up first.

Thanks,

Gary

Hi Gary,

Have a look at it. It is probably a copy of your /myth directory. If it is, just delete it using the terminal (don't know how much of a newbie you are, so "rm -fr /myth/video/myth" will do it).

Mike

That is exactly the problem. I just noticed yesterday that /myth/video contained the root directory, not just the /myth directory. And I found it was the "import video files from dvd" options which did it.

I swapped out the script and will test with a videos dvd later.

Thanks much!!!

Gary
