Post subject:  Using a DCT6200 with firewire/ieee1394

I'm wondering if anyone out there is using the DCT6200 reliably over firewire. I've got mine working kind of halfway. Right now, when I select "Watch TV", I usually get a black screen. I have to select "Watch tv" 2-4 times usually before it starts to work. When it doesn't work, I get the following:

Code:
2008-02-09 09:09:49.115 New DB connection, total: 2
2008-02-09 09:09:49.115 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host: htpc

2008-02-09 09:09:57.286 NVP::OpenFile(): Error, file not found: /myth/tv/2003_20080209090950.mpg
2008-02-09 09:09:57.288 TV Error: StartPlayer(): NVP is not playing after 20000 msec
2008-02-09 09:10:04.292 MythSocket(8886620:21): readStringList: Error, timeout (quick).
2008-02-09 09:10:04.293 RemoteEncoder::SendReceiveStringList(): No response.
2008-02-09 09:10:04.296 TV Error: LiveTV not successfully started

The second problem is when I change channels, sometimes it errors out and goes back to the Myth menu, otherwise it's just slow.

The third problem is that the video isn't always smooth. This happens on both HD and non-HD channels.

Thanks!

I have the same error any new suggestions (or any suggestions @ all) I use xfs for my filesystem this problem only occurs witrh the firewire capture. When I run testmpg all is good.

I have been googling but no luck yet.

Thanks
Craig
