Post subject: | Advanced Searches for Scheduling? |
Is it possible to do advanced searched for Scheduling future recordings? example I like Nascar Racing: I have been able to dial it down some like this Title: Nascar Racing And Subtitle: Sprint Cup Or Subtitle: Nationwide This gives me every instance of Nascar Racing: What I would like to do is this, Have a search running to schedule "every Show that is Nascar Racing : Sprint Cup or Nationwide Series " but exclude all of the Qualifying and Practice shows that they have for these. The challenge is two things, not sure the power search is working correctly, but also there doesn't seem to be a "Not" function or a way to exclude the Qualifying and Practice shows. |

Well I have a sort of workaround. Guess I need to do some Learnign on MySQL queries. In the Front end interface I went to Manage Recordings>Schedule Recordings>Custom Record I then Kludged around with the included examples for the following "clause" (program.title LIKE '%Nascar Racing%' AND program.subtitle LIKE 'Sprint Cup%' AND program.subtitle != '%Practice%') AND channel.callsign != 'SPEED' Like I say I kludged this. It sort of works but the only part that let it show me only the "Races" and not the Practice and Qualifying events. is that channel.callsign expression. I am concerned this isn't quite right, as somewhere around midyear they make changes to who broadcasts what. Anyway, I am hoping someone out there has done something similar, not specifically for my use but otherwise. I know things like Dr. Who broadcast multiple seasons at the same time so maybe some has done something with that. I can't seem to recall any postings on this. I am R5F27 out of the box as it were.
