I started KnoppMyth R4V4.1 whitch is an excellent job.
I have been trying to install and setup on a PVR350 with TVout enabled... which I have (mostly) thanks to the forums...
Can somebody help me out on the following?...

As I am in Greece (no xmltv, I think),
all I used is
Manually editing channels using mythtv-setup/Editor
Manually recording in Manual Sched. screen.

...so I have some defaults for title/subtitle/description entries...

1) Is it possible to configure/change them ?...how?...
There might be a work-around deleting the default text, but
2) BackSpace does not work on Silver Hauppage remote control to delete the characters. How can I activate it?...


So am I missing something or doing something wrong?..

1. I don't know...
2. By default, the remote isn't configured for backspace. Take a look at the lircrc for more... Plenty has been posted on the forum about setting up remotes and lirc/lircrc. I'd also suggest taking a look at the MythTV archives.

....but I am searching around for a while with no luck.

I have found some notes for lircrc configuration
....but I thing this is dealing with irxevent program.

I use KnoppMyth R4V4.1 and I think the lirc support is internally in MythTV and I should not run irxevent

internal IR support uses ~/.mythtv/lircrc file
the format is like :

# Channel Up
begin
prog = mythtv
button = CH+
repeat = 3
config = Up
end

but irxevent program uses .lircrc file
format like :
begin
prog = irxevent
button = right
config = Key Right CurrentWindow
end

The question is ...
which is the correct file to edit? and
which are the possible values for ( config = ) option ? for this distribution
.....( mythtv v0.15.1)

I am trying to locate the correct option for BackSpace to be able to edit title/Subtitle/Descr. as I said above...

I should say that I have search around a lot...
I have seen somewhere an option ( config = BackSpace ???... ) but I cannot find it again.
I thing this was an option for irevent...so is it used now that IR is embented in mythtv?....
