km r5e50

when i edit my recording (experienced the problem with different recordings) making a cutlist, i go to the 'edit by frame' level for making the cut points.
i noticed: making a cut point (between movie and commercial e.g.) i can see i make the cutpoint that way, that after (or before) the cutpoint the wanted frame(s) is/are visible ('the movie') and on the other side of the cutting line the unwanted ones (the commercial).
i can see that in the viewing screen (at the bottom of which is the cutpoint timeline).

after making a dvd, and plsying that in my standalone player, i often notice there is a tiny bit of the unwanted commercial stuff present, which would mean the cutting was not done exact enough....

how can i avoid this?
using keyframe instead of frame (in the edit action)?
making the cutpoints a bit more 'in the flesh i wanted to preserve'? (in the movie part)

other techniques you nerds use??

Make sure XVMC is turned off while you do the editing. I turn off de-interlacing also, just for added insurance. That seems to make it more accurate for me. -Zig
