Hi,

A few months ago I came across an old thread about how to install an app in LinHES that would normalize volume levels between HD and SD, but I can't find it for the life of me.

What I am trying to fix is the dramatic change in volume that I get when switching between channels sourced from my HDHomerun source and the PVR500 source.

I understand that the HDHR is simply writing the MPEG stream to the HD, so I am stuck with the low level, but since it is SO low I don't want to lower the level being captured by the PVR500 to match it. Apparently the app mentioned will act like a AGC, but on the out-put side and keep the levels at around the same point.

Anyone remember what this was, and if so, why wouldn't it be an option on LinHES?

Thanks in advance,
Victor
