I was answering a post the other night and referenced one of my HOWTO guides which kinda got me thinking: how many of these have I written? I did the search and found that the answer was nearly 30! I decided to put together an index of them in one thread... a bit shameless I know, but here we are! Most of these are self-explanatory based on the titles. Note that I have will be updating these guides to work with R6 once it goes final and supersedes R5.5. (Don't worry, I won't delete the originals, but I will offer both in the same post). nothing wrong with that. You deserve credit for your contributions. It is the kind of thing that makes this community work. I do quite a number over at contribs.org for SME server as well. Including a mythtv integration to that server. How-to's really help people get started even if their situation is different. Thank-you. Christ. |

Can we get this pinned or possibly converted to wiki articles? This is great work and a tribute to your efforts. |

Thanks for the kind replies, all. It's gratifying to know that people are finding these useful. christ wrote: It is the kind of thing that makes this community work.
You hit the nail on the head. This is the major driver for me spending the time to write up the guides. It's nice to know folks are actually using them too ![]() |

Just wanted to let the community know that I will be updating these guides (well some of them) for use with R6. See the first thread of the post for details. I'll be updating it over the next few weeks so check back if interested. |
