hmmm. I suspected that might be the case but wasn't sure.

I think you know where to look now and the key is to get the driver loaded properly. the config files should be comparitively easy.

I've got a spare hard drive and will likely verify this stuff over the next few weeks. Cecil says he plans to include this in R6 so I'll flyspray any issues.

I just loaded up LinHES 6.0.0.8 on a separate old laptop I have and looked at the lirc version. It looks like a fairly old build and you will need at least 0.8.5pre1 to get this device working.

I note, Nick (at the top of this post) shows how he updated lirc.

I will work with Cecil and others to get the configs in place. I think it will be better spent time rather than trying to migrate a how-to to R6 when ideally the how-to should no longer be required.
