I have added the dpgconv package to the R6 repos for converting video files to a format suitable for playback using the moonshell player on the Nintendo DS.

An example of how to call it:
Code:
dpgconv.py --keep-aspect-panscan /myth/pretty/Harry\ Potter\ and\ the\ Prisoner\ of\ Azkaban\ -\ 2009-07-14\,\ 7-25\ PM\ -\ Untitled.mpg

This will produce a .dpg file in the directory from whcih you run it.
Enjoy!

Greg,

What's the best card for the DS to get the latest moonshell player? A recommendation on a retailer would also be appreciated, since this does not seem like something you can by from Amazon or such. My kids would love to have something like this for their DS Lite.

Wow this is the 1st I've heard of this, very cool. I want to know more about Supercard and Moonshell. This could be great for traveling when the kids get tired of game play.

Any links for the newbies?

Thanks,

Mark

I have an "M3 DS Real". I upgraded to the latest M3 DS Real system software (The help button shows version 4.5 X). I am also using the latest version of moonshell 2.05. Installing both of these was simply a matter of copying files to the microsd card.
I dont know where you can purchase the m3 ds real. you'll have to google.

Greg,

Got an M3 DS Real (not the easiest task) and moonshell is really neat. Kids will soon love the tv shows on the go. I'm a little worried about battery life. Thanks for the tip.
