I installed KnoppMyth successfully but when I view the display on the TV there is a white bar on the right hand side of the screen running vertically from the top to the bottom. It does not go away when I shift the GUI to th right so I was thinking that the X screen will have to be shifted to the right. I just don't know what file to change. I am using a Asus GeForce 3 Delux card.

Do I have the right idea, comments?

Well there are some settings for the driver that you can put in the XF86Config file for overscan etc. you would have to look through the nvidia documentation, but since it's a pre gforce4 I think the nvtv utility will work with it. Might be a little easier. I think you should be able to apt-get install nvtv

someone please correct me on this if I'm wrong. I heard it didn't work with the 4mx and above, but I did use it on my 2mx.
