I had been annoyed by the fact that windows in FVWM were not movable or resizable as indicated and solved in the following post:

so I followed the instructions and am happy to say that windows are now resizable, etc. The problem now is whenever I watch TV or do anything else FVWM blanks the screen every few minutes. It's not a big deal but just a little annoying when you are watching a movie and have to get the keyboard to unblank the screen. So could anyone tell me what is it in the rc file that specifies to blank the screen? I looked in the file and couldn't find anything obvious.

Perhaps comparing the old .fvwm2rc to the new one...notice the line about xset?! That is what you need. Sorry I'm away from my boxen and cannot given the exact parameters.
