When Mythtv boots up I have Music, TV, Images, Video, Games, etc...

There are several icons that I don't want, is there a way to remove those modules? Do I have to uninstall them or is there a config file somewhere?

Thanks for any info.

PS. I did find a mainmenu.xml in /usr/share/mythtv and I #'ed out all the paragraphs for menus I don't want, but that didn't work.

I did finally find this thread:

It indicates that my mainmenu.xml tweak should have worked. It did not.

TIA for any additional thoughts.

Nevermind! Apparently you can't # out the lines in /usr/share/mythtv/mainmenu.xml. You have to remove them completely.
