P4 1.7Ghz, 256MB ram, 20GB hdd

You know it at least has a Intel chipset. I'm sure you will have to drop in a graphics card and a larger hdd for serious use. I bet this could be a decent system for anyone wanting to experiment with Knoppmyth.
