MythTV, KnoppMyth, and Dragon (sorta) were discussed on the recent Simple Reboot show: http://nsightproductions.com/content/blogsection/7/28/

To jump right to the MythTV section:

It's a great introduction to MythTV and KnoppMyth features.

I am the host of the Simple Reboot and techPhile podcast as well as a long time MythTV/KnoppMyth user.

Everyone here will also be very happy to know that I will be doing a segment on the Canadian TechTV show hosted by Leo Laporte called Call for Help about KnoppMyth. It will tape in November and air in Decemeber.

I'd like to talk to Cecil directly about this, and I hope he jumps in or emails me ;)

Nice! I watched the Canadian version for as long as it was carried by G4 in the USA, but apparently G4 felt it didn't parallel any shows on MTV or Spike, so they dropped it.

He's been pretty busy since he got back from the UK, so you might try PMing him.

In the meantime, here's some supplemental reading material: http://mysettopbox.tv/KRP.html

I forgot to mention this: The dialog you talked about in the podcast where it listed all your possible methods of getting your shows is actually presented so that it can grab channel icons for you. The code currently knows how to auto-select this if you use "us-bcast" as your channel frequency table but needs to ask you if it's anything else.

Locale/Zipcode can also be determined automatically under certain conditions, based on your zap2it subscription information.

I'm sure Cecil will mention this to you, too, but KnoppMyth is more than just a way to install MythTV and its dependencies. There is a lot of automation done to configure and tweak the default MythTV settings, the filesystem is customized for MythTV, and there are many additional applications and capabilities installed. With everything, effort is taken to minimize the number of interactions with the user during installation and setup and to rely on automation where possible.
