Just curious how to add these forms and other RSS feeds (Gizmodo, news.com etc) to MythNews? Thanks, -Jeff |

Does anyone know the straight/easy answer to this? I have searching (and have read the documentation) but still haven't been able to figure it out. I have installed the mythplugins v-0.18 and enabled all of the options. I am using the r5a16 release of knoppmyth. When I go to Mythnews all I see under 'news feeds' is a blue background with some up and down arrows. Do I need to edit some file or something to include rss sites or something? Please help; and remember I am a newb (spell it out exactly). |

Ok, so I figured out how to add websites to the news reader that were 'pre-installed' with mythTV as soon as I posted this. For anyone else that doesn't know, it is under 'setup' and 'info center settings'. Is there a way to add other websites to the news reader that aren't already there to choose from? Like digg.com or something? Also, I noticed that when you choose to 'read the whole story' on any news site you want, the zoom option under menu (key M) doesn't work. Maybe its just mine though. And one more thing. I added 'http://www.google.com' to my webpages under web settings in mythTV. When I goto 'web' under MythTV now, I can select google and it loads just fine. The only problem is that I can't use all the letters when typing a search in; since some letters pull up menus and such. Is there a way to use all letters? Briefly disable menu shortcuts? Also, the zoom option doesn't work here either... |
