No Rebate, free shipping....keep in mind, this is Serial ATA

Seagate 320GB 7200rpm internal Serial-ATA hard drive with Perpendicular Recording and 5 year warranty for $95 with free shipping. Promo code AFCHD320G gives $5 off. That comes to $0.28 per GB, a pretty good deal for a fast hard drive with a 5 year warranty.

What SATA issues? All one has to do is a manual install.

No offense intended, Cecil  KnoppMyth is the bee's knees...

I thought I've seen mentioned more than once that SATA should be avoided. Does this only apply to the boot sector under an auto-install? I guess I should read up some more.

Currently, one cannot auto install to SATA.
